Hospitals are all going down a path of attempting to achieve Meaningful Use (MU), while deciding to join HIEs or just built out an interoperable network with their health system and provider network. Many goals of hospitals are to create a stronger bond with their affiliate physician network. Regardless of the goals of the hospital, solutions for referring physicians, connecting to an HIE or State or trying to achieve interoperability across an entire community, you need an easy to use, affordable solution that immediately connects all providers. Our ORBIT® portal framework allows facilities and practices of all sizes to exchange clinical data in a way that fits with their workflow. The ORBIT® Electronic Medical Record (myEMRlite), is a Lite version of traditional EMR systems and allows view only access to the community supplied longitudinal patient's records. Adding on the ORBIT® Physicians Portal allows bi-directional exchanging of clinical data to and from provider or facility EMR systems. The remaining component is offered as the ORBIT® Patient Portal. With this, all the Meaningful Use elements related to patients can be achieved, including access to records, alerts as well as the ability to communicate to the care givers.
Our experience in deploying provider-centric solutions means we've addressed most of the obstacles that are common with disparate clinical systems. With our model of leveraging existing technologies and interfaces, and dealing with different data standards, we have made it possible for our customer's and health care communities to be connected efficiently and cost effectively.
