Orbit® Transaction Tester is a web based tools available to firms who intend to send healthcare transactions electronically. The tool is used to check the validity of healthcare transaction file – if it is HIPAA compliant – before submitting.
The simple to use tool, allows users to upload a healthcare transaction file, specify what type of file it is. The test file option invokes the back-end testing engine and allows following several level of tests to be performed on the file
- Integrity Test
- Requirement Test
- Balancing
- Situation Test
- External Code Set Test
Upon selection of required testing on the file, the test is conducted on the file(s) and the results are immediately shown on-line to the user.
IGI regularly updates the web based tool to keep it up-to-date with any mandated healthcare industry changes in the electronic file format.
