Arthur Kapoor
Founder, Chairman

Arthur Kapoor, a well traveled healthcare industry pioneer, was instrumental in successfully leading Med-Link (now Emdeon) - as the largest and fastest growing clearinghouse of the northeast region in the early 1990s. Today, under his leadership, IGI Health continues to focus strongly on global winning solutions in the areas of healthcare transactions and consumer driven health benefits.

Arthur Kapoor has over 22 years of experience in software development, EDI and healthcare transaction processing. He also founded Dimensions Consulting, Inc., which developed a client-server model for capturing digitized facilities management floor plans. He has negotiated various mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations in the healthcare industry and is currently an advisor on HIPAA regulations, HL-7 reforms and ANSI implementations. He has a B.S. in Computer Science and an MBA in Marketing from Rutgers University, New Jersey.

Lee Barrett
President, CEO

Mr. Barrett is President and CEO of IGI Health. Mr. Barrett is also Executive Director of the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC) a 501c6 not-for profit national accreditation organization. He also currently serves as a board trustee on the NJ HITEC Regional Extension Center.

Mr. Barrett has 10 years leading healthcare professional services organizations including PricewaterhouseCoopers, SAIC, Covansys and Virtusa. He has 20 years in senior management roles in payer organizations including: MassMutual, Connecticut Mutual, Travelers and Aetna. He has also lead and grown healthcare and other software/solutions companies including: MultiMate, Barrett Consulting Group, Medical banking Exchange (MBEXX) and Claredi Corp. He has also been in senior leadership for the American Dental Association Business Enterprises Inc. (ADABEI), the for-profit, wholly owned subsidiary of the ADA, a provider organization. He has served as chairman of WEDI, and ASCX12N Insurance Subcommittee and has been on a number of other industry board roles.

He speaks nationally on a variety of e-Health/e-Commerce and industry topics and is involved in a number of industry coalitions promoting the use and implementation of both administrative and clinical transactions, including the development and proliferation of electronic health records (EHR) and "Meaningful Use" including the National Health Information Network (NIHN) and Health Information Exchanges (HIE's).Mr. Barrett continues to work on key e-Health industry initiatives that lay the foundation for health information technology - including support and implementation of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Act (HITECH).

Mike Relli
Vice President of Business Development

Mike Relli has more than 17 years experience in Emerging Initiatives related to Healthcare Information Technology and Transactions. Mr. Relli regularly speaks at industry tradeshows and workgroups with respect to workflow improvement solutions by managing interoperable data in HIPAA, HL7 & other EDI formats. Currently he is on the Steering Committee of NJSHORE, which is the New Jersey regional WEDI affiliate, as well as being involved in the Committee on Operating Rules for Information Exchange (CORE), operated by CAQH. Mr. Relli is also active in state and regional Health Information Exchange efforts serving on technology and sustainability subcommittees for both efforts.

Mr. Relli has been with IGI Health since 1998 and is currently the Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Relli is responsible for driving the ORBIT product line and healthcare services business unit. Prior to IGI Health, Mr. Relli was a Director of Payer Sales at Envoy-NEIC (now Emdeon) where he covered the Northeast region. Mr. Relli presented a series of some of the first HIPAA informational seminars to Envoy-NEIC's network of payers throughout the United States and he also represented the company by serving on the ANSI X12n sub-committee that defined the final 4010 HIPAA transaction set for the 278 - Referral Certification and Authorization. Prior to ENVOY-NEIC, Mr. Relli was a Director of Payer and Provider Sales for Med-Link (now Emdeon), and helped built the clearinghouse into an eastern United States EDI power. Mr. Relli got his start in Healthcare as a Senior Support Representative at MicroHealth Systems (now McKesson) where he assisted the sales team to manage practice management implementations, demonstrations and post production enhancements to the application.

Mr. Relli started his professional career as an Account Executive with Dreyfus Service Corp. where he was a key member of a team that implemented one of the first on-line mutual fund trading systems. Mr. Relli has a B.A. in Economics from Rutgers University

Sita Kapoor
Chief Information Officer

Sita Kapoor is a well-known industry speaker on transaction implementation providing leadership and guidance to business and technical teams. She has presented her work at Annual WEDI shows. She is also a steering committee member at the NJ Shore, a regional SNIP affiliate for promoting HIPAA standards. Sita is actively involved in HIPAA workgroups for defining transaction standards and has participated in multiple ANSI subcommittees.

In her 20 years of information technology and healthcare experience, she has managed the deployment of systems to support healthcare transaction processing, business intelligence and payer adjudication. She has consulted for numerous multi-national healthcare companies including United Healthcare, Siemens Medical System, Johnson & Johnson healthcare and GE. She has been an advisor for the EDI Coalition of New York and the Mass Health Data Consortium.

Sita built the Med-Link clearinghouse system that started with 2 providers and grew to a 2 million-transaction hub in 3 years. The Clearinghouse provided Batch Claims, On-Line Claims, Claim Status/ERA, Eligibility and Referrals in 1995 to it clients. The clearinghouse solution provided connectivity to Hospitals, Physicians and Dentist to send transaction to other gateways, direct payer and print paper.

Prior to IGI, she was the Chief Information Officer at Med-Link. Sita has a B.S. in Computer Science from Rutgers College, New Jersey and an MS in Computer Science from the Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey.
