The Healthcare industry's need to lower administrative costs can be achieved by partnering with vendors who understand these business dynamics. While many technical initiatives have come and gone, healthcare payers still face the same goals of creating greater efficiencies by establishing direct connectivity.
One of the objectives of introducing standards formats, as mandated by HIPAA, was to provide seamless direct connectivity between Trading Partners. To date, there has been a concentrated effort in this arena. However, the challenge of minimizing efforts to implement, test and maintain new connections, while not increasing cost, has caused a resource issue and raised many questions about ROI of such initiatives.
IGI’s proficiency in enabling payer-to-provider and payer-to-payer connectivity is unparalleled.
- Payer Services: Healthcare Business domain experts conduct Gap Analysis, Transaction Mapping, Business Rule/Requirement Writing & Testing for Any-to-Any Formats, Project Management & execution of Architecting, design & development of Portals, and EDI mapping.
- Provider Services: Healthcare Business domain experts conduct provider adoption for direct connectivity through enrollment, registration, testing into the payer network, and conversion of paper to electronic submissions.
IGI's high level of healthcare knowledge contributes to its success within the client community. IGI's resources work in tandem with its clients' internal teams to enable connectivity, distribute electronic transactions, customize software products, and create a roadmap for successful implementations.

Offshore Build - Operate - Transfer ("BOT") |
|
|
While many IT services companies have been successful in building and maintaining effective solutions for their clients, very few clients have been able to make the transition from “customer to owner”. IGI has developed a strategic approach to addressing this problem by putting in place a method to build, operate, and transition the investment to the customer.
During the “Build” phase, IGI will work with its customer to identify the business need, define the opportunity, the workload, skill requirement, number of resources, infrastructure, and training, among other things, and define a road map for initiating the build plan.
During the “Operate” phase, Program Managers will monitor and fine tune the model to maximize output and extract best results from the engagement.
During the “Transfer” phase, IGI will work closely with the customer to execute business operation development, facilities, infrastructure, HR policies, hiring, and conversion of activities to the client.
During all three phases, the relationship is monitored closely by both IGI and the client to ensure clarity in vision, clarity in communication, and clarity in execution.
